Walks in Nature

Walks in Nature is a series of walking cards imagined and realised by Viola Design in collaboration with experienced bushwalker Diana Carlile. Published by Explore Australia, these cards highlight trails and hikes that are easily accessible – and have a snack or coffee at the end of them – in order to encourage people to go outside and connect with the sights and smells of the world around them. Originally published in 2010, and re-released in 2017, the Walks in Nature series includes Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania, with an associated book of Australia-wide walks. We developed the concept, name, brand, package, cards and maps, all using sustainable inks and paper.
